ScholarVertex is an independent, open-access scholarly press for students, research scholars, and early-career authors. We publish peer-reviewed research under transparent editorial policies - article processing charges and case-by-case waivers are stated openly before review and never influence editorial decisions.
The press launches with the Vertex International Journal of Law, Management & Social Sciences (VIJLMSS), a bimonthly journal covering law, management, public policy and social sciences, governance, and the social sciences. We prepare metadata for ORCID, ready our workflow for DOI assignment, and apply for registry/indexing recognition - and we label each of these honestly as available, planned, or future until they are formally confirmed.

Too many first manuscripts disappear into unclear editorial systems. ScholarVertex makes the decision visible before you submit: scope, fee policy, review model, metadata, and what happens if the journal is not the right home.
We publish work by students, PhD researchers, postgraduates, independent scholars, and early-career academics, while keeping standards visible enough for supervisors, librarians, and readers to inspect. Every ScholarVertex article is made openly available for harvesting via OAI-PMH; coverage by third-party scholarly services is subject to their own inclusion processes. Editorial & Reviewer Applications

ScholarVertex Publications is constituting the editorial team and reviewer panel for VIJLMSS, a peer-reviewed open-access journal for law, management, public policy, governance, and the social sciences. We invite qualified academics, researchers, and practitioners to apply for the roles below. There is no fee to apply, and applying creates no obligation on either side — appointments are made by invitation after review of applications. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Open roles: Editor-in-Chief · Associate Editor · Advisory / Editorial Board Member · Reviewer. Confirmed appointments are listed on the journal's Editorial Board page as they are made. Please complete one application per role you wish to be considered for.
What you will need
- Your ORCID iD (0000-0000-0000-0000) and an institutional email address — free webmail accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and similar) are not accepted.
- A short CV or résumé (PDF or Word, max 10 MB) and a passport-style photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP, max 4 MB).
- Your areas of expertise, up to five representative publications, and an indicative availability — for example, the number of reviews you could take per year.
- Your affiliation, designation, and country, plus a link to your faculty or institutional profile page.

ScholarVertex is preparing a programme of research-methods short courses for students, research scholars, and early-career authors - designed to translate journal-quality standards into hands-on practice. Topics under planning include qualitative and quantitative methods, academic writing, ethics and integrity, and the doctoral-to-journal pathway. We will announce dates, instructors, and registration here as the programme launches.
