Faculty Development Programs
ScholarVertex Publications and the Vertex International Journal of Law, Management & Social Sciences (VIJLMSS) welcome proposals for Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) for faculty, early-career researchers, and research scholars. An FDP can be hosted by a university, college, or academic department, on campus or online.
Topics an FDP can cover
- Research methodology and study design, including legal and empirical research
- Academic writing and getting published in peer-reviewed journals
- Research ethics, integrity, and avoiding plagiarism
- Peer review and the editorial process
- Data analysis, reference management, and research tools
- Responsible use of artificial intelligence in research and writing
Who can partner
Universities, colleges, departments, research centres, and professional bodies are welcome to propose an FDP or to invite ScholarVertex to discuss one for their faculty. Each program would be tailored to the host institution's audience and needs.
How to propose or host an FDP
Write to the editorial office at [email protected] with your institution, the proposed theme, expected audience and size, preferred dates, and mode (on campus or online). The editorial office replies to plan the program together. Schedule, duration, and any applicable fees are agreed with the host institution for each program.
