Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges

IJLMAS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by ScholarVertex Publications. Open access requires a sustainable funding model. The journal is currently operating an indefinite launch-period APC waiver: there is no submission, review, or publication charge at this time. A regular APC schedule will be announced in advance of any change.

Waivers and discounts

While the launch-period waiver is in effect, no waiver application is required. When a regular APC schedule is introduced, authors from low-income economies, early-career researchers without institutional support, and authors who can demonstrate financial hardship will continue to be eligible for full or partial waivers. See Waiver Policy.

What the APC will cover (when activated)

  • Editorial workflow management and peer review administration.
  • Production: copy-editing, typesetting, XML conversion, DOI registration.
  • Permanent open-access hosting and long-term digital preservation.
  • Metadata distribution to indexing services and academic search engines.

What is not charged

  • No submission fee.
  • No review fee.
  • No charge for reading or downloading published articles.
  • No surcharge for figures, tables, supplementary files, or colour.

The launch-period waiver applies indefinitely until IJLMAS announces a regular APC schedule. Any future change will be announced at least 60 days in advance and will not apply retroactively to manuscripts already in review.
