FAQ

Frequently asked questions

This page answers common questions about submitting to the International Journal of Law, Management and Society (IJLMAS). For anything not covered here, write to [email protected].

Can students and research scholars submit?

Yes. IJLMAS is designed for students, research scholars, and early-career authors. Submissions still need original work, a clear method, and supervisor-aware authorship where relevant.

Is there an article processing charge?

The current charge and any waiver route are described on the Article Processing Charges and Waiver Policy pages. Waivers are reviewed case by case and are never automatic.

Do you guarantee acceptance, indexing, or impact metrics?

No. IJLMAS does not guarantee acceptance, and does not claim indexing, impact factors, or database coverage it has not earned. Status is always stated honestly as applied-for or planned.

Can a thesis or dissertation chapter become an article?

Yes, if it is revised into a standalone article, properly cited, and not under review elsewhere.

What if my manuscript is not the right fit?

The editors will say so and, where possible, suggest a more suitable venue. A clear, early referral is a service to authors.

Which areas does IJLMAS cover?

Law (doctrinal, socio-legal, comparative, and empirical legal scholarship), management and organisational studies, public policy and governance, and the broader social sciences. See About for the full scope.
